UMass forestry alumni gather at the annual New England Society of American Foresters meeting

Dozens of UMass forestry alumni and students gathered at a fun, social reception on March 19, 2009 as part of the 89th annual winter meeting of the New England Society of American Foresters. Over 450 foresters from throughout the 6-state New England region met for three days in Portland, Maine on the overall conference theme of “Bio: Mass, Fuel, Products, Diversity: resource management in a changing world”. Alumni and former faculty enjoyed refreshments, stories, professional contacts, and informal time with current UMass forestry students.
